Ivan Yumagulov has over ten years of experience teaching piano students of all ages and backgrounds. His teaching career has included collegiate instruction at Penn State, where he worked with young adults from a variety of academic disciplines, helping students develop strong keyboard skills, musical understanding, and confidence through the study of diverse composers and styles. His approach emphasizes a solid foundation in technique, music reading, ear training, and artistic expression.
In addition to his university teaching experience, Ivan has maintained an active private teaching studio, working with children, teenagers, and adults. He has taught for City Strings & Piano and Vibe Music Academy in Cincinnati, as well as Mason’s School of Music in Florida, providing individualized instruction tailored to each student’s goals, experience level, and learning style.
